❌ Two Units Inoperable Since Sep. 3, 2021
Two DC Fast Chargers at the District Court of Maryland for Baltimore County at 8914 Kelso Dr, Essex, MD have been reported as inoperable (faulted) since September 3, 2021. The two chargers are owned and operated by BGE and are on the Greenlots charging network. These EV charging stations opened in March, 2021. Governor Larry Hogan, Treasurer Nancy Kopp, Department of General Services Secretary Ellington Churchill, and BGE CEO Carim Khouzami participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 9, 2021. These chargers are installed under an agreement between the Maryland Department of General Services and BGE to put EV charging stations at State facilities. They are part of a Statewide EV pilot program approved by the Maryland Public Service Commission to install EV charging stations at state, county, and local municipal government facilities across Maryland.
